A New Year Means New Classes!

Welcome to 2012!

We have some exciting new changes coming to dave's studio starting this February including the addition of two more kid's classes! We will post that information soon. In the meantime, our current schedule of classes is below. 


*We will be meeting on Martin Luther King Day.


Schedule: 
Mondays: Van Goghs (ages 8-12) 5-6:30pm. ($15 per weekly session. Materials included.)

Tuesdays: Beginning Portrait Painting (Adults) 6:30-9:00/9:30pm ($25 per weekly session. Bring your own materials: Paint, Brushes, a photo of your subject)

Wednesdays: Beginning Drawing (Adult) 5:30-7pm ($20 per weekly session. Materials Provided)

Wednesdays: Open Studio (Adult) 1:30-3:30pm ($25 per weekly session. Some Materials Provided)

Thursdays: Landscape Painting (Adult) 6:30-9:00/9:30pm ($25 per weekly session. Bring your own materials: Paints and Brushes)

Saturdays: Little Picassos (ages 4-8) 11am-12 ($10 per weekly session. Materials included.)

All of our classes are continuing into October and November. If you've already signed up we encourage you to keep coming! If you have been wanting to sign up, now is the time.

New Classes:

Gift Workshop: (October 17th, 24th) We are adding a new class just in time for the holiday season: Gift Workshop (adults). The first gift we will work on are marbleized journals and notecards. (Pictured Above). This class will take place in two parts: Week One (November 7th) We will make the marbleized paper and prepare the journals. Week Two (November 14th) We will bind the journals and create the notecards. Although this class is geared toward adults, children can participate for an additional $10 fee and can create their own set of journals and notecards to go along with yours! Adult sessions are $20 and include all materials.


Open Studio: (Wednesdays 1:30-3:30pm) Come surround yourself with other artists and receive individualized attention in the material of your choice. You can work on a self guided artwork or receive an "assignment" from the Dave.

Time change: Wednesday's beginning drawing class will now run from 5:30-7pm.

Hello

Hello, Jocelyn Meyer here. I am an artist transplant from Baltimore, Maryland. I have spent the past several years teaching art, painting and running a gallery in Baltimore City. Upon arrival in Kirksville (my husband is a 2nd year at ATStill University), I quickly stumbled upon dave's studio. It made me feel at home!
